Summer Snow

OK, it isn't really snow, but the wind last night in Ogden Valley was kicking up so many seed pods that it looked like a snow storm in 70 degree weather.

Lewis Peak Snow

After an unusually warm start to the year, new snow arrived in Northern Utah this morning. After the morning storm passed, I caught a couple photos of Mount Lewis and Jumpoff Canyon above Ogden.

Clouds Over Canyonlands

I just returned from another trip to Southern Utah. My last time down there, I gave myself the challenge of looking for black and white photos in such a famously colorful spot. I played with that same idea again a little bit. Here is one of my favorite shots from the appropriately named Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. I'll try to get some more photos online later in the week. Enjoy.

Taylor Canyon Storm

Thought I'd post something between all of the video project updates.
We've had some impressive storms in Northern utah over the last few days. I caught this image of clouds moving through Taylor Canyon near Ogden during a brief break in the rain.

Summer Feature

I went out hunting yesterday to try and find a photo to go with a story one the heat wave predicted for Utah later in the week. After several failed attempts of shooting on the rivers, I came across some folks at Farr's Ice Cream and got this image.
