Summer Snow

OK, it isn't really snow, but the wind last night in Ogden Valley was kicking up so many seed pods that it looked like a snow storm in 70 degree weather.

Southern Utah in Black and White

One of my first loves in photography was shooting black and white landscapes. For whatever reason, I've been shooting them again lately. I posted a couple photos earlier from around Ogden (and here), and I shot these over the weekend in and around Arches National Park. Enjoy.

Taylor Canyon Storm

Thought I'd post something between all of the video project updates.
We've had some impressive storms in Northern utah over the last few days. I caught this image of clouds moving through Taylor Canyon near Ogden during a brief break in the rain.

Wasatch Sunset

The benefit to working late is that I have great view of the mountains from the office. After last night's storm, the sun cut through to the mountains for a few minutes and I was able to run out and get these shots.

Idaho Whiteout

I was up in Southern Idaho over the weekend for a planned photo adventure. Unfortunately, the combination of a snowstorm, some closed highways and a stuck snowplow changed all of that. On the plus side, a small break in the snow let me catch this photo.
