Rodeo Highlights

The Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo recently wrapped up. I pulled together a few highlights that I shot for the Standard-Examiner over the last week. This is one of my favorite events to shoot each year.  Enjoy.

Searching for Bats

I recently went out with a group of biologists from Utah's Division of Wildlife Resources as they looked for bats on Antelope Island. Here are a few of my favorite photos from the evening and I also made a video that you can watch here.

I recently spent some time with wildlife biologists out on Antelope Island as they were trapping and surveying bats. It was a great experience, especially since I used to spend my summers working on bat research projects while in college.

Spring at Bear River

I went up to Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge over the weekend. I went up earlier in the spring to make a short video on the tundra swans, and since that time, most of the birds have changed over at the refuge. Here are a few shots from this weekend.

Making the Grade - Episode 5

Full Moon Over Mount Ogden

The positive piece of working late in the office is that I get a view of Mount Ogden and can run out the door with a camera when the full moon starts to rise.
