Salt Lake City Tattoo Convention
I recently went down to the Salt Lake City Tattoo Convention to write and take photos. I really didn't expect to come across such a huge international event like this on my first month in Utah. Enjoy the photos below and you can click here to see a full gallery and read more about the weekend.
Tournament Basketball
As the final games of the college basketball season wrap-up, I've gone through and pulled a few of the tournament photos that I shot over the last month for the Standard-Examiner. These photos are from the first day of the NCAA tournament in Salt Lake City and from the College Insider Tournament in Ogden. Full galleries can be found at the link below each photo.

Easter Rendezvous
This past weekend was the Easter Rendezvous at Fort Buenaventura in Ogden. The annual gathering is at the site of an early trading lcation and today is one of the first events of the year for mountain men reenactors around the region. I was only able to stop by just after the set-up and before the main events began, but I did get a few photos. Enjoy.

Anti-Discrimination Rally
Last week in Utah, SB 262 - a bill that would outlaw housing and employment discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity - died in the final days of the latest Senate session. Supporters of the bill held a rally on the state capitol steps two days later where they celebrated how far the bill had come and to motivate people for future measures. I shot a few photos at the capitol. Enjoy.

Basketball off the Court
While prepping for the upcoming NCAA tournament in Salt Lake City, I was going through some photos from the last tournament I shot here: the Utah High School Championship. Manyof the on-court photos ran in the paper and online, but here are some of the off-court moments as well.
Spring Fashion Shoot
I recently shot my first fashion shoot for the Standard-Examiner as part of a spring fashion preview for Her's Magazine. The general theme was for "mash-up" of different styles so we held the shoot at a local demolition derby garage. A few of the photos are below. Enjoy.

Antelope Island
I made my first visit to Antelope Island yesterday since moving to Utah a few weeks ago. I climbed Frary Peak in an attempt to find some big horn sheep. I never found them, but it was still a beautiful climb, including the pair of bison that were waiting on the ridge near the top. Enjoy the photos.
