Sharp-Tailed Grouse

A few days ago, I had the opportunity to go out with a wildlife biologist on Antelope Island to release sharp-tailed grouse. The trip was part of a project to re-introduce the birds around Utah. Salt Lake City Tattoo Convention

I recently went down to the Salt Lake City Tattoo Convention to write and take photos. I really didn't expect to come across such a huge international event like this on my first month in Utah. Tournament Basketball

Easter Rendezvous

This past weekend was the Easter Rendezvous at Fort Buenaventura in Ogden. The annual gathering is at the site of an early trading lcation and today is one of the first events of the year for mountain men reenactors around the region. I was only able to stop by just after the set-up and before the main events began, but I did get a few photos. Enjoy.
